Jesus Jubilee 2012
Jesus Jubilee 2011 was a great success, thanks to all of the Gospel groups, supporters, workers, and especially the FANS who came out to worship the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords with us! Jesus Jubilee just keeps getting better and better! Of course, Jesus deserves all of the praise, honor, and glory, for this great ministry that He has blessed us with!
Now we are focused on 2012, anxiously waiting for the summer to arrive so we can once again hear all of the wonderful Gospel music and preaching that awaits. About Jesus Jubilee
"The Lord is my strength and my song...and I will exalt Him." Exodus 15:2
We are a family of brothers and sisters who have always loved gospel music. We also love singing three part harmony from time to time when asked by local churches and organizations. Jesus Jubilee started out as a deep desire in our hearts to have gospel music concerts in our community. In September of 1996, in a little field next to the house that we grew up in, we hosted our first gospel music concert. With a flatbed trailer for a stage, hot dogs and sodas as snacks, and eight local groups as featured musicians, it was wonderful!
This will be our 17th year of hosting gospel music concerts in our area. We've had some very talented people come to Jesus Jubilee-all with an eagerness to touch people's lives for Jesus through their music and their message. This year is no different. We're anticipating great and wonderful blessings from the Lord. What a privilege to be involved in such a ministry!
We believe that God has placed this ministry in our hearts, so we are excited about what He is doing through us. Who are we? We're just an ordinary family, who, years ago as children, used to run barefoot in the corn field which is now "holy ground" where Jesus is lifted high!
"It is good to sing praise to our God; for it is pleasant, and praise is beautiful." Psalm 147:1
